The Korean skincare routine emphasizes healthy, glowing and hydrated skin over covering it under many layers of makeup. This routine consists of ten steps that makes fine lines and wrinkles less visible. You would surely wonder why this routine is named after Korean skin; that’s because the products of this routine are made in Korea. Western skincare focuses on exfoliating for skin renewal, while a Korean skincare routine focuses on putting nutrients into the skin.
A Korean routine always starts with removing dirt/make-up with and oil-based cleaner. Then cleansing the oil residue and clogged pores with a water-based product.
In the previous article Chara (27,recruiter) describes the skin problems that she faced, after her move from Greece to the Netherlands.
She told us that she uses the Korean skin care routine every evening.
Chara has shortened the routine that actually consists of 10 steps to 6 steps. Read Chara’s version of this routine below!
